ABOUT

Started in 2007, Sandrine Seifert Equestrian is a place where clients develop not just as riders, but as good horsemen. Sandrine and her clients share a passion for horses and excellence that is contagious.

Horsemanship
SANDRINE SEIFERT

Sandrine has been riding for over 30 years. She grew up at Foxfield Riding School and rode and worked there for 23 years. Sandrine was part of the Foxfield Drill Team, where horses are ridden without bridles and saddles. She had a solo act in which she performed Grand Prix Dressage movements. After obtaining two Master's Degrees and being a school teacher and administrator, Sandrine had the opportunity to start her own hunter/jumper and dressage barn in 2007.

 

As the owner and trainer, Sandrine focuses on developing her clients not just as riders but as good horsemen who know and understand their horse and horse care.​

Sandrine has ridden numerous horses to-end wins and coached multiple riders to year-end awards, including medal final wins and top- year end wins and coached multiple riders to year end awards, including medal final wins and top ten finishes.

Awards:

Sandrine has received the following awards for her continued efforts and professionalism:

  • 2009 USHJA Western Regional Affiliate Award Profesional of the Year

  • 2009 LAHJA President's Award

  • 2010 LAHJA "Art Gottfried" Professional Sportsman of the Year

Organizations:

Sandrine sets an example for her clients by continuously developing herself professionaly and giving back to the equestrian community by being heavily involved with the following organizations:

  • USHJA: Chair and affiliate representative for Southern California

  • LAHJA (2009 to present): Sandrine currently serves on the LAHJA Board. She is the LAHJA corporate secretary and chairs the Education Committee and Hunter/Jumper Committee, which orchestrates the Horsemastership Program, including Horsemastership Summer Workshops and judges the hands-on phase.  Sandrine also writes the monthly news tidbit called the “Equestrian Minute” for the LAHJA E-News.

  • SFHJA (2007-2011): Sandrine previously served on the SFHJA Executive Board & Board of Directors.  She was Vice President of the Association and chaired the Show Approvals & Standards Committee, Jumper Committee, and Marketing Committee.
